Arak Gedang Night and Tabut Besanding is the peak night of the tabut celebration in order to welcome the new year of Islam starting from 1 Muharram to the peak of the disposal of the tabut at 10 Muharram ritual Tabut to commemorate the fall of the son of Prophet Muhammad SAW, Husein in the battle of Padang Karbala.
